Geez and I thought some states here in Australia had backward people like these FL lawmakers! Dear god...they're barely human.

I read a couple of articles about "American exceptionalism" and your medical 'system'. The white, exceptionalism part I get, as Australia has that same white racist superiority complex, but I'm sad but happy to say that even conservative Australia accepts as a given universal health care, regardless of creed, colour, politics or gender. From ultra-conservative to ultra-Left (me), it's an accepted part of Aussie life - there have been 2 elections here where conservatives were beaten through fear they would go down "the American path" of medicine and health. Health coverage and guns: when will the US wake up to the blinding obvious actions in both cases?
