I believe Trump is now so far ahead that he no longer needs to provide fake acknowledgement of diversity or catering to a broader group of voters. Hence, no female or coloured VP candidate. He's now in dictator mode, gathering together his dreadful (& dreaded) cabal of sycophants, bible-bashers and plain political and ideological hench-people, poised to unleash their paranoid dogma on America and the world at large.
