I have just found you after reading your ASPI article in Pearls and Irritations. I share your deep concerns about the US complete takeover of Aus & the ceding of Aus sovereignty, especially by this so-called 'progressive' government. The slow track record was dreadfully glacial when they were 1st elected, but now it's just awful - trade may be back on the table, but the negative rhetoric about Xinjiang, HK, Tibet and Taiwan bleat on unabated.

I am so pleased you received an award for your own personal "Long March", as I am sure it was as arduous as it was also exhilarating! China has so much diversity to offer and there are not enough years in 10 lives to see all China has to offer.
