I hope you are right - I feel you are, as I was one of those tasked all those years ago to test the first Kodak digital here in Australia. It was rubbish, and 6 of us said so!

With EVs, I think the transition from rubbish to Jag or Polestar has been quicker than the transition from that first digital camera I held 30+ years ago, and improvements are exponential in both cases. My Nikon D1 from 24 years ago seems galaxies away from the Z series I now use, much the same as the Tesla 2008 sports car compared to your Jag (what job did you say you did??).
