I note you didn't add China/Taiwan to that list. Obviously you have not joined the tired media sabre-rattling hype surrounding China's intentions. Similarly, you did not include rumblings within the Pacific region - as one involved for decades in this, I am glad your informants are giving you accurate information rather than the continual drums of war banging to deafen people to the truth: China does not wish and will not participate in any conflict unless there is an armed attack by an outside force. That has been the stated aim for 45 years and it has held in place for 45 years. No matter how often the West screams about the "China threat", no matter how often racist jibes are dragged out against China, the only war has been that of words, where China has defended itself against falsehoods and allegations which have been proven time and again to be untrue.

No naive “kumbaya” with China.

But REALLY, seems my USA could approach China with more worldly sophistication, and less juvenile rhetoric.

China is our main competitor for world influence. But to frame this competition as conflict is pointless propaganda that only serves to further tarnish our world image!
