I seriously wouldn't recommend it. If you think Trump was bad, our PM is a thinking, pork-barrelling bastard who favours his friends and uses the Aus people as cannon-fodder - witness the vaccine 'strollout' (sic), lack of quarantine facilities, disparagement of the most vulnerable, including withdrawal of gov subsidies for those businesses worst hit by the pandemic while giving handouts to multi-millionnaire mates who pocketed the $$ as profit (you couldn't make this up!). If you think US democracy is bad, Aus is run by an oligarchy of rich, conservative, Pentecostal Church nuts hell-bent on staying in power by whatever means it takes, including corruption at the highest levels. No, don't bother with Australia until after May when hopefully the elections will wash away this egregious bunch of dolts.
