Ironically you have outlined several situations which could actually save the day counter-intuitively. Just as the Gazan Palestinians have risen up against their oppressors, so too could the MAGA working class realise belatedly they were sold a crock by a crook and thus have the wherewithal to call a general strike demanding change. I don't think we'd want Vance anywhere near the levers of government, so that's an alarming development if he pulls the 25th Amendment stunt and seizes power. If you think Trump is bad, wait till you see that far-right ideologue flex the muscles. Unlike Trump, he's not "phenomenally stupid". However, "stupid" could be Trump's undoing, not by that in itself, but by tying the system in knots and bringing his plans to a standstill until he has to wind/walk back what he wanted - resolution by stealth as it were. He gets part of what he wanted, but not the catastrophic bits. Yes, he could use the law against itself and the people, but not even monarchs can hold back the flood if they're that bloody bad.
