Well said. I also believe there should be a tenure limit. 4 terms is more than enough. Ideas get stale, ruts get formed, comfort is too easily acquired. Talent, continually promised "next time", get worn down and eventually go away, leaving apparatchiks and no-hopers as front-runners. I see it time and again...and don't start me about women and coloured people being stiffed, stuck behind glass doors & under glass ceilings.
