You must be near Canada - I love puffins! Anyway, I digress.

Australia has had its share of anti-Semitic fascists over the past decade, but now the government has changed to progressive Labor, there are incremental changes on the horizon.

However, while you write scathingly (& rightly so) about the carrot-hued despot and cronies, you have said little about Biden. I would be interested in your views on American ambition in the Pacific and the almost indecent haste to instal troops, nuclear-capable planes and ships and a naval base at the top end of Australia. Does this make Biden et al more or less the same militaristic, belligerent and domineering administration as those beforehand? Will this actually mean the further military subjugation of Australia as a willing dupe and pawn of the US industrial-military complex, a further extension of Australia as "Deputy Sheriff? If yes to any of these questions, even with provisions, what does this say about US-China relations? As someone involved in both Pacific and Chinese affairs, I would value your insights as I consider you as one with a progressive and clear-sighted view of US politics. An article or opinion would be valued (& shared!). Kind regards,

As much as I love puffins, I live in New Jersey. We only have seagulls and Canadian geese.
I write about domestic (US) politics. Foreign affairs interest me, but I am not knowledgeable enough about them to write about them.
I do write about Biden, not…
